A salad classic in a practical format Watermelon feta skewers: ideal for on the go!
As soon as it’s warm outside, she likes to find herself quite often on our plates: the melon and feta salad. Today we put it in a practical form. Be sure to try these watermelon and feta skewers. So easy, so delicious.
Ingredients for 4 persons :
1 kg of watermelon
250g of feta
1/2 bunch of mint
sea salt, black pepper
a little olive oil
Approximately per serving:
16 grams of fat
22 grams of carbs
12 grams of protein
And that’s how it’s done
The first step is to open the watermelon, cut it into wedges and carefully separate the flesh from the skin. Cut the flesh into regular cubes.
Take the feta out of the brine and cut it into cubes of the same size – ideally the cubes are the same size as the melon cubes.
Rinse the mint thoroughly and pat dry with paper towel.
Prepare wooden skewers and place a cube of melon on them, followed by a mint leaf, a cube of cheese and another cube of melon. Repeat the process until you have used up the melon and feta. Drizzle with a little olive oil and voila!
