Potatoes are already incredibly delicious – but roasted in a pan with fruity cherry tomatoes and sage, they become a new taste experience.

Our Mediterranean Potatoes, roasted with cherry tomatoes and sage, refute the fact that a diet consists only of monotonous foods.

Ingredients for 1 serving:

  • 300 grams of potatoes
  • 100g cherry tomatoes
  • 6 sage leaves
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • coarse salt
  • freshly ground pepper

Approximately per serving:

  • 389 calories
  • 14 grams of fat
  • 54 grams of carbs
  • 7 grams of protein

And here’s how it’s done:

  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly. Leave the skin on and cut into quarters. Next, wash and halve the cherry tomatoes, then chop the sage leaves.
  2. Heat a little olive oil in a pan lined with parchment paper and fry the potato wedges over medium heat for 12 minutes. Then add the cherry tomatoes and sage. Sprinkle with coarse salt and pepper. Continue frying for 5 minutes until the potatoes are cooked.

Lose weight with potatoes? It is very good! Although potatoes don’t necessarily belong in the low-carb kitchen due to their carbs, tubers still cut a fine figure in diet recipes. This asparagus and potato stew, which everyone must have eaten at least once, is just as light. Or how about our jacket potatoes with yoghurt sauce and Montenegrin cottage cheese? If the appetite is a little bigger, we have potatoes stuffed with tuna and corn, which are extremely filling. So you see: you don’t have to do without tasty potatoes while on a diet!

Did you know that potatoes and cottage cheese make a dream diet couple? Quark is high in protein, keeps you full for a long time and is low in fat – provided you use low-fat quark. In our photo gallery, we’ve collected some inspiration for you on how you can use these two ingredients to mimic wonderful weight loss recipes:

Do you sometimes crave sweets and crisps? Unfortunately, most snack foods contain sugar and other ingredients that are far from good for your diet. In our video, therefore, we present sinless snacks that you can access without hesitation:
