Berlin amateur club lures Kruse
At VfL Wolfsburg he is retired: striker Max Kruse (34), who is no longer taken into account by coach Niko Kovac (50).
Now a rather odd club have shown interest in signing Kruse, who is contractually tied to VfL until the summer of 2023.
The club is Delay Sports Berlin. The founder of the association is Elias Nerlich, star of streaming, social networks and twitch. He said: “I’ll tell you how it is, we still have a place available. We can’t offer you a million, but a cool blonde after the match and men with ambition.”
Delay Sports participates in the Berlin district C league. After four wins in four games, the team leads the standings with a goal difference of 24:2. On Sunday, however, in the second round of the Berlin Cup, there was a 5-2 loss to Oberliga side CFC Hertha 06.

It’s clear: Kruse would not play the Champions League with the club…
Incidentally, Kevin Pannewitz (30) is also under contract with the new amateur club Berlin. Kruse invited the ex-professional, who failed partly because of his overweight, to his new “Youtube” section “Schlag den Max” (on the “Die Kruses” channel) just a week ago.

From January, Kruse also wants to take care of his sporting future. He refuses to terminate his contract prematurely.
At the end of his career, Kruse dreams of America. Maybe already in winter? More recently, Los Angeles FC publicly flirted with the social media star. A move to the United States seems more likely than a “descent” into the slums of Berlin amateur football…
It wasn’t until Tuesday that Kruse suffered a serious muscle injury to his left thigh during training, which forced him to take a longer break.
On Thursday, less than 24 hours after receiving the diagnosis, the attacker was able to poke fun at it again on Instagram: “You know people, I’m not in such a rush now that it depends on one week or the other.”
Incidentally, the player’s fan also gives a slight green light regarding the planned downtime. At the end of November, he wants to be back on the lawn.
