Berlin – Harald Glööckler (56) relaxes! During the presentation of his new lifestyle collection, the cult designer talks about punk, hairstyles and husbands:

It is now almost his second fair – or even his third after moving to Berlin for professional reasons… Designer Harald Glööckler has on Saturday (March 12) in the noble Hotel Adlon in the run-up to “Berlin Fashion Week (March 14-20) presented its new lifestyle collection consisting of sportswear, loungewear and home linens. There are also celebrities and former jungle campers like Micaela Schäfer (38), Julian FM Stoeckel (34) and Hannah Engel (69) as well as Xenia Princess of Saxony (35).

The casual look is a cooperation with the company Adelshof Immobilien around Til Maximilian Teuber. Accordingly, cult designer Glööckler worked diligently, designed and sketched to put his stamp on the “Teuber by Harald Glööckler” collection.

Harald Glööckler: The cult designer’s new fashion is so cool and punky

Lo and behold, what the models are wearing for the Adlon Conservatory (fashion) show bears the gentleman’s handwriting in a surprisingly reserved way with sequins, rhinestones and small crowns. Only a golden crown, which crowns the Teuber logo, is visible on the black garments. The new collection – a tribute to punk.

Glööckler has been living in Berlin again for about a month. And he feels like he’s “never been gone.” Glööckler marvels that he doesn’t know why Berlin should be haute couture and elaborates: “Berlin was punk. The big time was the 80s, the 70s – when David Bowie was here, Nina Hagen. Berlin was snotty. That’s why I came to Berlin to do punk fashion. It’s a tribute to the punk era, a tribute to Nina Hagen. I’m from the punk generation.” says let’s do something. Start something with loungewear, shirt dresses with t-shirts, hoodies, etc. ” The big show in Berlin should take place at the end of the year.

Harald Glööckler: Fashion settlement with the capital – “What should haute couture be about Berlin?”

Usually, when he hears the keyword Berlin, it springs from him: “What is Berlin to me? Everyone always claims that we do haute couture here, take a sewing machine, sew a dress in ten hours and say it’s a haute couture dress. Well, I’ve done haute couture before – it was 200 hours of work by seamstresses in Paris and Milan. But Berlin was never haute couture!

“I have a very sporty and very cool and relaxed collection. For me, Berlin is not a city where you have to present haute couture above all. I know Berlin as punk, as a young, cheeky, cool city. That’s why I thought I’d do a reminiscence of the punk era and Nina Hagen. That’s what makes Berlin so special.” Moreover, this look is very popular again. He went to Tokyo (Japan) a lot, where young girls run like that. But how much punk is there in Harald Glööckler? “I was very punk, I was totally punk – I’m still punk. As you get older, you become more and more punk,” says Glööckler.

Harald Glööckler: The Interview About Figure, Hairstyle and Husband

After Glööckler always showed his shaved head, he not only has the dog Billy King (11) with him at the PR meeting, but also a Fiffi on his head. So why wig again this time? “The wig is overkill, it’s a piece of hair. I only have 200 of them – something has to happen. The choice is not so great,” Glööckler quips.

And although the bird of paradise isn’t wearing a skin-tight corset during the interview with MANNHEIM24, as is so often the case lately, he is visibly slim and slender. “I don’t eat anything anymore,” jokes the 56-year-old. But Glööckler is not content to leave feathers on his head more often, who lost eleven kilos during his stay in the jungle camp: “I have already lost 12 to 13 kilos – you no longer need a corset .”

Absent in broad daylight from Glööckler: her husband Dieter Schroth. And yet, the 73-year-old (commercial) partner, who stayed at the common Château Pompöös in Kirchheim in the Palatinate, is still aware: “We wrote to each other this morning and we spoke to each other. He is happy, has also received photos and is enthusiastic. Unfortunately, he no longer wants to travel, which is also difficult for him for health reasons. But he is happy with what he sees, hears and experiences. ” Rumors of an alleged love or a marital crisis have recently been vehemently denied by the two very different men.

Harald Glööckler: Wallpaper, deckchairs, tiny houses – business is booming for the cult designer

It wasn’t until mid-October 2021 that the versatile designer invited people to the legendary luxury inn directly at the Brandenburg Gate to introduce the public to his own wallpaper line called “Jungle Collection” a few weeks before his participation in the jungle camp. .

In general, since the return of the jungle camp to South Africa, we can say: Runs with Harald! In addition to his own animal program “Unser new animal home” on RTL, which originally aired once on March 6, the 56-year-old “Prince Pompöös” has created a luxurious beach chair which is being building on Usedom. The Nice kennels, which are optically based on the Tiny Houses designed by Glööckler, will soon follow. The PR professional Glööckler had already presented his new sunglasses collection in front of the cameras around the jungle camp in a media-effective way. (peak)
